The Tree of Restoration displays the homes that have
been repaired at this point in time. A leaf is added for each
family who recovers. As of the beginning of
May, 576 homes
have been completed within Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange Counties.
In the Rita Recovery office, we receive phone calls
from families needing repairs to their homes. With more
than 200 on the waiting list, a leaf added to the tree is a celebration.
