| We have been so
fortunate to have volunteer teams come from all over the country!
So far, at Rita Recovery, we are happy to announce that we have helped
more than 576 families move back into their homes. We still have
over 200 families to help, and our waiting list continues to grow.
As this list of people from all over Southeast Texas grows, we plead for
your help more than ever. We need people to help us in every
aspect of our volunteer services ranging from rebuilding people's homes to praying.

We are
so very grateful to all of those who have already helped by volunteering
with Rita Recovery. Between October 2005 and the beginning of May
2008, we have had 508 teams from thirty-three states and one country.
Within the 508 teams, with many of them as repeat visitors, we have had
6,923 volunteers working to what totals
28,232 days, which is in essence 207,247 total worked hours by our
volunteers. Due to the volunteers' generosity, the people of this
area have saved over 4.05 million dollars in labor costs, and we
continue to have volunteers come to Southeast |
| Texas to help people repair their homes
in recovery of Hurricane Rita. |

So,
"Why do we need YOU," you may ask? It is simple; we want
families back in their homes.
YOU can be an integral part in helping us do just that.

to hear from you! You can e-mail us at

We ask that you prayerfully consider filling out a registration form today!
As you consider volunteering, please note that we
do not work on Sunday because we like to give the homeowners this
personal time. |
